Two distinct layers, to avoid confusion: the documents between you and Mobee (the platform agreement) and the documents towards your customers (YOUR app's privacy policy and terms).
Your agreement with Mobee
You sign it digitally during initial setup (first step of the wizard). No paper: checkboxes and confirm, and it stays available for review.
Your app's documents
Your app must show customers a privacy policy, terms of service and cookie policy. You don't have to write them:
- Mobee provides ready-made standard texts, automatically filled with your company details (business name, registered office, contacts);
- In the dedicated section you accept them with one click — or customize them by pasting your consultant's texts, if you prefer your own;
- If you enable the loyalty program, there's also the rewards policy, handled the same way.
Without acceptance (or customization) you can't publish the app: it's one of the publishing checklist checks.
Company details
Business name, VAT number, registered office (with street number), certified email or SDI code: filled in under Settings → Company details, required for publishing.
⚠️ Careful before saving: once saved complete, company details become locked — they end up in legal and fiscal documents, so they can no longer be edited on your own. Found a typo later? Write to us via "Need help?": we'll fix it for you, same day.
Frequently asked
- Can I use my own privacy policy? Yes: customize the text in the documents section — what you paste fully replaces the standard.
- Are the standard texts compliant? They're prepared and kept up to date with our consultant; they remain a general baseline — if your business has special needs, have yours review them.
