Closing temporarily (holidays, emergencies)

Rough night, holidays, kitchen down? You have three tools, from lightest to most drastic.

1. Close now, with a message

From "Close business" in the panel:

  • the app stays visible but stops accepting orders;
  • you can write a message for customers ("Back on August 28th — happy holidays!") shown in place of the orderable menu;
  • when you reopen, one click and you're back. Clear the message whenever you want.

The right choice for emergencies and short closures.

2. Scheduled closures (paid plans)

On paid plans you schedule closing days and holiday periods on the calendar in advance: on those days customers see no available slots, without you having to remember to close manually.

3. Unpublish the app

From Unpublish app: the app goes fully offline. Your address and QR stay yours and republishing is one click. Use it for very long breaks or renovations — for normal holidays it's overkill: the closure-with-message is better.

Good to know

  • Orders already received before closing remain valid: handle them normally (or contact customers if you can't fulfil them);
  • Closing doesn't touch your menu, photos or settings: everything is as you left it when you reopen.
