Sales channels and delivery zones
Sales channels You decide how customers receive their orders: - Pickup — the customer orders and comes to collect; - Home delivery — with zones and delivery fees you define; - At the table — the customer orders from the table by scanning a QR code (available on the Standard plan, with table and station management). For each channel you can set a minimum order (e.g. delivery only above €15). Channels are enabled from the Hours page: each time window applies to the channels you pick. Delivery zones If you deliver, you draw your zone directly on the map: 1. Go to Delivery; 2. Trace the polygon of the area you cover (click to add vertices); 3. Set the zone's delivery fee and, optionally, an extra time (for farther zones: it pushes the first available slot later, giving your rider time to get there). The base plan includes one zone; on paid plans you can create more, each with its own fee and timing (e.g. city centre at €2, outskirts at €4). What happens outside the zone When a customer enters an address outside your zones, they can't complete a delivery order: pickup is offered instead, if enabled. No "impossible" orders reach your kitchen. Tips - Better an honest zone than an oversized one: on-time deliveries = good reviews; - If you cover two areas with different costs, use two zones instead of one huge zone with an averaged fee; - Remember to save after editing the polygon.
Opening hours and time slots
The hours you set apply per channel (pickup, delivery): from those, Mobee automatically generates the time slots customers choose from when ordering. Setting your hours Go to Hours (or the "Selling & hours" step of the wizard): 1. For each day, enable your opening windows (you can have more than one: e.g. lunch 12:00–2:30pm and dinner 7:00–10:30pm); 2. Each window applies to the channels you pick — you can do delivery only in the evening and pickup all day; 3. Each day is independent: if you remove a slot from Tuesday, the other days stay as they are. What the customer sees Customers don't see "7:00–7:30pm": they see the time they'll receive the order (e.g. "7:15pm"). They pick the time in the cart and your kitchen plans accordingly. Minimum notice and pre-orders - Minimum order notice: how far in advance an order must arrive (for example: orders for 12:00 accepted up to 15 minutes before). You set it. - Orders open from: if you want, open ordering in the morning for evening slots — customers can pre-order for any future slot of the day. Full slot or closed day - If a day is closed, customers see no slots for that day; - On paid plans you can set an order limit per slot: when it's full, it disappears from the customer's choices (no overloaded kitchen). Paid plans On paid plans you get the advanced editor: reusable slot groups, per-slot duration and capacity, scheduled closures (holidays). If you edit or delete a slot that already has active orders, Mobee warns you before proceeding.
Closing temporarily (holidays, emergencies)
Rough night, holidays, kitchen down? You have three tools, from lightest to most drastic. 1. Close now, with a message From "Close business" in the panel: - the app stays visible but stops accepting orders; - you can write a message for customers ("Back on August 28th — happy holidays!") shown in place of the orderable menu; - when you reopen, one click and you're back. Clear the message whenever you want. The right choice for emergencies and short closures. 2. Scheduled closures (paid plans) On paid plans you schedule closing days and holiday periods on the calendar in advance: on those days customers see no available slots, without you having to remember to close manually. 3. Unpublish the app From Unpublish app: the app goes fully offline. Your address and QR stay yours and republishing is one click. Use it for very long breaks or renovations — for normal holidays it's overkill: the closure-with-message is better. Good to know - Orders already received before closing remain valid: handle them normally (or contact customers if you can't fulfil them); - Closing doesn't touch your menu, photos or settings: everything is as you left it when you reopen.
Mobee AI credits: how they work
Mobee AI features that require heavy processing use credits: a simple system with no subscription — you buy a pack and spend it when you need it. What uses credits - Enhance photo — 1 credit per image (you see the result before confirming); - AI setup assistant — the first analysis is free; after that, 1 credit (text only) or 2 (when photos, PDFs or web pages need to be read). Dish description generation is included, with a daily anti-abuse limit. What does NOT use credits If an operation fails, you don't pay: credits are only deducted when the result is delivered. Balance and purchase Your balance is always visible in the sections that use AI. When you run low, you're offered a pack right there, with prices and sizes shown at purchase time — you pay by card and credits are available immediately. Credits never expire. Tips - The assistant's free first analysis is the right moment to give it your best material (a complete, readable menu); - For photos, start with your best sellers: that's where enhancement pays off most.
Privacy, terms and company details
Two distinct layers, to avoid confusion: the documents between you and Mobee (the platform agreement) and the documents towards your customers (YOUR app's privacy policy and terms). Your agreement with Mobee You sign it digitally during initial setup (first step of the wizard). No paper: checkboxes and confirm, and it stays available for review. Your app's documents Your app must show customers a privacy policy, terms of service and cookie policy. You don't have to write them: - Mobee provides ready-made standard texts, automatically filled with your company details (business name, registered office, contacts); - In the dedicated section you accept them with one click — or customize them by pasting your consultant's texts, if you prefer your own; - If you enable the loyalty program, there's also the rewards policy, handled the same way. Without acceptance (or customization) you can't publish the app: it's one of the publishing checklist checks. Company details Business name, VAT number, registered office (with street number), certified email or SDI code: filled in under Settings → Company details, required for publishing. ⚠️ Careful before saving: once saved complete, company details become locked — they end up in legal and fiscal documents, so they can no longer be edited on your own. Found a typo later? Write to us via "Need help?": we'll fix it for you, same day. Frequently asked - Can I use my own privacy policy? Yes: customize the text in the documents section — what you paste fully replaces the standard. - Are the standard texts compliant? They're prepared and kept up to date with our consultant; they remain a general baseline — if your business has special needs, have yours review them.
Tables and pickup points
With the At the table channel (Standard plan) customers order from their seats and the order reaches the kitchen already tagged with the table number. The Places section is where you define tables and pickup points. Creating tables From Places: - create a single table ("Table 1", "Terrace 3"…) or a whole series at once (e.g. "Table 1–30"); - reorder them as you like; - each place can serve At the table, pickup (e.g. "Counter", "Kiosk") or both. The At-the-table channel requires at least one active table: it's one of the publishing checklist checks — without it, the channel won't switch on. How customers order The customer opens your app at the table, picks At the table and selects their table: the order arrives with the table already set — no more "which one was table four?". Pickup points If your venue is large (or you have a dedicated takeaway counter), create pickup points with clear names: the customer chooses where to collect and you see the point on the order. Tips - Use the same names/numbers you already use in the dining room, or your staff will go crazy; - For outdoor areas, explicit names ("Outdoor 1") help on busy nights; - If you rearrange the room, update your places: creating and deactivating them takes seconds.
Multiple venues and multiple menus
On paid plans, the same app can serve multiple locations and offer multiple menus — without duplicating anything. Multiple venues Each venue has its own hours, delivery zones, tables and publishing state: 1. From Venues you create the new location (address, hours…); 2. You prepare it calmly as a draft: it doesn't affect the venue already live; 3. When ready, you publish it: from that moment customers pick the venue in the app. At the top of the panel there's the venue switcher: everything you edit (hours, delivery, places) applies to the selected venue. The menu is shared, but you can customize per venue prices and availability of individual dishes — or have dishes that exist in one location only. To delegate, create a Venue manager account (see "Team members"): they see and manage their location only. Multiple menus Within the same venue you can offer distinct menus — pizzeria and sushi, lunch and dinner — each with its own channels, hours and categories: - customers see them as separate tiles when opening the app; - the menu switcher appears at the top of the panel: hours, delivery and categories follow the selected menu; - each menu is published or paused individually (a paused menu disappears from the app; its categories stay in place in the panel). Tips - Start with a single venue/menu and add the second once the first runs smoothly; - Clear menu names ("Lunch", "Our pizzeria"): customers must instantly get where to go.
Customer payment methods
You decide how customers can pay, channel by channel — and you see the chosen method on every order. Payment on delivery or pickup Always available, switched on/off from payment settings: - Cash; - POS (card on delivery or at the counter). They're the baseline every new business starts with: zero configuration, you collect as you always have. Online card payment With the Payments module (included in the Standard plan) you can accept cards directly in the app: the customer pays when ordering and you see the order already paid. Activation requires connecting your payment circuit: it's done together with our support (write to us via "Need help?") — a one-time step. Good to know - On every order you clearly see the method: paid online, cash or POS — the daily cash report in the Manager app summarizes them separately; - With multiple menus or venues, methods are associated to each: you can accept cash at the counter and online-only for delivery, for example; - To cancel an order already paid online, contact support: we'll handle the refund to the customer together.
