Getting started: from signup to your app online

With Mobee you create your business's ordering app in minutes: menu, opening hours, delivery and pickup, all managed from a single panel. 1. Create your account Go to the signup page, enter your name and email, and choose whether to set a password (you can also skip it: in that case you'll sign in with a link sent by email). You'll receive a verification code by email: enter it and you're in. 2. Complete the guided setup The wizard walks you through step by step: 1. Your business — name and address of your venue (including street number). 2. Selling & hours — pick your channels (pickup, delivery) and opening hours, which can differ by day and by channel. 3. Your menu — you can use the AI assistant: tell it about your business, give it your website or a photo/PDF of your menu and it creates categories, dishes and a welcome text. Or add dishes manually. (See the "AI assistant" article.) 4. Your theme — colors suggested automatically from your logo, always editable. 5. Review — preview your app in a live simulator. You can go back to any step at any time: nothing is final. 3. Follow the launch guide After the wizard you land in the management panel: the dashboard shows the launch guide, a checklist of what's missing before going live (dish photos, delivery zones, team members…). Each step takes you to the right section. 4. Publish When all checks are green, press Publish app: your app is live at https://your-name.mobeeapp.it, with a QR code to print and share. Customers order from their browser, nothing to install. Need help at any point? Open "Need help?" at the top: you'll chat directly with us.

The AI assistant: menu and copy in one go

Mobee's AI assistant turns the material you already have — your story, your website, a photo or PDF of your menu — into a ready-made menu and a welcome text for your app's home page. What you can give it - A short story about your business (who you are, what you do, what makes you special); - Your website, if you have one: the assistant reads it by itself; - Your menu, in any of these forms: photo, PDF, a link to a page of your site, or manual entry of your dishes. The more material you provide, the better the result — but it works with little too: if you only provide the story, you'll get the welcome text and can add dishes by hand. What it produces - The categories and dishes extracted from your menu, with names and prices; - The welcome text for your home page, in your tone of voice; - A classification of your business (pizzeria, sushi, pastry shop…). The assistant doesn't make things up: it only extracts what it finds in the material you gave it. Before applying you always see a summary and decide what to keep. What it costs - The first analysis is free; - After that: 1 credit for text-only input, 2 credits when the assistant needs to read photos, PDFs or web pages. Credits are sold in packs from the dedicated section. - If the analysis fails, you are not charged. Tips - The menu photo must be readable (well lit, not cropped); - Review the extracted prices before applying: the AI is accurate, but the final check is yours; - You can run the assistant again after the initial setup, from the management panel.

Publish your app

Once your venue is set up, take your app online with one click — and pause it just as easily. The "Publish app" button You'll find it at the top of the panel. Before publishing, Mobee runs some checks: - at least one active sales channel; - opening hours set; - at least one active category with products; - legal documents accepted (your app's privacy policy and terms); - company details complete (business name, VAT number…). If something's missing, the checklist tells you point by point, with a button taking you straight to the section to fix. When everything's green, publishing is instant. A note on company details: once saved complete they become locked (they're used in fiscal and legal documents). To correct them later, contact support via "Need help?": we'll do it for you. Your address and QR code Your app is reachable at: https://your-name.mobeeapp.it From the panel you download the QR code: print it on tables, in your window, on flyers. Customers scan it and order from the browser — nothing to install. Pausing With Unpublish app the app goes offline (customers see a courtesy message); your address and QR stay yours and republishing is one click. Useful for renovations or long breaks. For a short closure (holidays, an emergency) you don't need to unpublish: use "Close business" with a message for your customers — the app stays online but doesn't accept orders. What about the stores? What you publish here is the web app: instantly online, no approval waits. On paid plans you can additionally have your native app on the App Store and Google Play: the process is assisted and we handle the technical side — see the "Your app on the stores" article. After publishing Follow the launch guide on your dashboard: photos, zones, team members, a test order. And share your link everywhere: Google Business, Instagram, WhatsApp.

Frequently asked questions

Do customers have to download an app? No. Your app works in the browser: customers scan the QR or open the link and order right away, on any phone. No store, no installation. Can I try everything before opening to customers? Yes, in two ways: the simulator in the panel shows the app exactly as customers will see it, and after publishing you can place a full test order (excluded from counts and statistics). How much does it cost? You'll find up-to-date plans and prices in the Plan section of the panel. You start free, and upgrade only when your numbers ask for it. How am I notified of a new order? In real time, with a ring, in the panel and in the Mobee Manager app (recommended: keep it open on your venue's phone or tablet). With a Sunmi printer, the ticket also prints automatically. I made a mistake in my company details, how do I fix them? If your profile is already complete, the details are locked (they end up in legal documents): write to us via "Need help?" and we'll fix them same day. Can I close for holidays? Yes: "Close business" stops orders and shows customers a message; reopening takes one click. See the "Closing temporarily" article. A dish is sold out, how do I remove it on the fly? From the Mobee Manager app or the panel: availability toggle on the product, it disappears from the customer app immediately. Switch it back when it returns. The customer made a wrong order, can I cancel it? Yes, from the order detail: the customer gets notified and any points are reversed. For orders paid online, contact us for the refund. Can I use my own domain instead of mobeeapp.it? Yes, on paid plans: see the "Using your own domain" article. Can I have my app on the App Store and Google Play? Yes, on paid plans: you fill in the listing (Mobee AI writes the texts for you), we handle the rest — preparation, submission and store review. Once the app is published, push notifications unlock too. See "Your app on the stores". I can't find the answer I was looking for Open "Need help?" at the top of the panel: direct chat with us, or write to us on WhatsApp. We answer fast.

Your app on the stores (App Store and Google Play)

Beyond the web app, on paid plans you can have your own native app with your name and logo, downloadable from the App Store and Google Play. Plus, once the app is published, push notifications to your customers activate. How to request it You'll find the path in Settings (or as the last step of the launch guide, once your web app is live). You fill in the store listing: - App name (max 30 characters — Apple's limit), subtitle, short and full description, keywords; - support email and, optionally, free-form notes for our team. Don't start from a blank page: Mobee AI generates all the texts from your menu and your story (1 credit) — you review, tweak and save. What you DON'T have to do - Icon and artwork derive from your theme and logo (Appearance section); - We produce the screenshots; - The technical publishing on the stores — accounts, builds, submission — is a process we handle end to end. After submitting Once you press "Submit", the listing locks and the process starts. Follow the status from the page (and from the icon at the top of the panel): 1. In preparation — the team prepares the app and materials; 2. Sent to the stores — delivered to Apple and Google; 3. In review — the stores examine it; 4. Published — downloadable, and push notifications activate. You receive an email at the key steps: taken in charge, any changes requested, publication. "Changes requested" Apple's and Google's reviews sometimes ask for adjustments: in that case the listing becomes editable again, with a note explaining what to fix. You correct and resubmit: the process resumes from there. It's normal, it happens — no alarm. How long does it take? Preparation is quick; review times belong to the stores, not to us: usually a few business days, and the first publication is the longest. We keep you posted — no need to ask. What about the web app? It stays and keeps working: links and QR codes already out there don't change. The store app adds to it, it doesn't replace it.
