Sales channels and delivery zones

Sales channels

You decide how customers receive their orders:

  • Pickup — the customer orders and comes to collect;
  • Home delivery — with zones and delivery fees you define;
  • At the table — the customer orders from the table by scanning a QR code (available on the Standard plan, with table and station management).

For each channel you can set a minimum order (e.g. delivery only above €15). Channels are enabled from the Hours page: each time window applies to the channels you pick.

Delivery zones

If you deliver, you draw your zone directly on the map:

  1. Go to Delivery;
  2. Trace the polygon of the area you cover (click to add vertices);
  3. Set the zone's delivery fee and, optionally, an extra time (for farther zones: it pushes the first available slot later, giving your rider time to get there).

The base plan includes one zone; on paid plans you can create more, each with its own fee and timing (e.g. city centre at €2, outskirts at €4).

What happens outside the zone

When a customer enters an address outside your zones, they can't complete a delivery order: pickup is offered instead, if enabled. No "impossible" orders reach your kitchen.

Tips

  • Better an honest zone than an oversized one: on-time deliveries = good reviews;
  • If you cover two areas with different costs, use two zones instead of one huge zone with an averaged fee;
  • Remember to save after editing the polygon.
