Dish photos and Mobee AI
Photos are the first thing customers look at: a menu with real, well-made photos sells more. Mobee helps you with both format and quality. Uploading a photo Product and category photos are square. When you upload an image: - if it's already ~square, it goes up as is; - if it's not, the guided crop opens: choose the framing yourself, or "Fit with background" to keep everything (handy for logos). Mobee takes care of the rest: resizing and optimization are automatic. Upload limit: a few MB — a regular smartphone photo is perfectly fine. Enhance a photo with Mobee AI You have the right photo but it came out poorly (bad light, messy background)? Use Enhance photo: Mobee AI cleans it up and makes it appetizing, without changing the dish. You see the result before confirming. Each enhancement uses 1 credit (credits are sold in packs). AI-written descriptions From the product page you can ask Mobee AI to write the description from the name and ingredients. Feel free to edit it: it's a draft at your service. What if a dish has no photo? No ugly gaps: Mobee shows an automatic stylized icon in your theme colors, marked as temporary. When you upload the real photo, it replaces the icon in one tap. Tips - Real photos, always: customers order what they see — never stock photos of dishes that aren't yours; - Natural light, dish centered, simple background; - Start with your 10 best sellers: maximum impact for minimum effort.
Build your menu: categories and products
Your menu is made of categories (Pizzas, Starters, Desserts…) containing products. You manage it from Menu in the panel. Categories - Create a category with a name and, optionally, a cover photo; - Reorder categories: the order you see is the order in the app; - Hide a category (eye/toggle) without deleting it: handy for seasonal menus. Products For each product you set: - Name and description — you can have Mobee AI write the description for you; - Price; - Photo — square, with guided cropping (see the "Dish photos" article); - Visibility — switch off a sold-out dish without deleting it. You can duplicate a product to create a similar one (the copy starts without a photo: upload its own). Options and variants Add option groups to your products: - required, single-choice groups — e.g. "Cooking" (rare / medium / well done); - optional groups, possibly priced — e.g. "Extras" (buffalo mozzarella +€2), with a maximum number of choices you decide. Customers can't complete the order without the required choices, and option prices add up automatically. Boxes and combos With Boxes you create combinations (e.g. "Lunch deal: main + drink"): choose which products can go in, the min/max per group, and whether the price is fixed or the sum of the components. Tips - Short, clear names: customers choose in seconds; - The first categories sell the most: put what you want to push at the top; - A menu with photos sells noticeably more than one without.
