The AI assistant: menu and copy in one go
Mobee's AI assistant turns the material you already have β your story, your website, a photo or PDF of your menu β into a ready-made menu and a welcome text for your app's home page. What you can give it - A short story about your business (who you are, what you do, what makes you special); - Your website, if you have one: the assistant reads it by itself; - Your menu, in any of these forms: photo, PDF, a link to a page of your site, or manual entry of your dishes. The more material you provide, the better the result β but it works with little too: if you only provide the story, you'll get the welcome text and can add dishes by hand. What it produces - The categories and dishes extracted from your menu, with names and prices; - The welcome text for your home page, in your tone of voice; - A classification of your business (pizzeria, sushi, pastry shopβ¦). The assistant doesn't make things up: it only extracts what it finds in the material you gave it. Before applying you always see a summary and decide what to keep. What it costs - The first analysis is free; - After that: 1 credit for text-only input, 2 credits when the assistant needs to read photos, PDFs or web pages. Credits are sold in packs from the dedicated section. - If the analysis fails, you are not charged. Tips - The menu photo must be readable (well lit, not cropped); - Review the extracted prices before applying: the AI is accurate, but the final check is yours; - You can run the assistant again after the initial setup, from the management panel.
TeamTeam members: roles and access
No need to share your password: every person on your team gets their own account, with the right permissions for what they do. The roles - Administrator β full panel access, like yours; - Venue manager β manages their venue only (orders, menu, hours of their location); designed for multi-location businesses; - Manager β uses the Mobee Manager app for orders and quick menu management (dish availability); no access to settings; - Rider β sees their deliveries from the app. Inviting administrators and venue managers From Team: 1. Enter their email and role; 2. They receive an invitation email with a link: they open it, set their password and they're in; 3. Until they accept, they show as "pending" β you can resend the invitation. Creating manager and rider accounts For operational staff, you create the account with a password you choose (these are service accounts: no invitation email): 1. In Team, pick "What they do" (Manager or Rider); 2. Set the password (there's a generator too); 3. Hand email and password to the person β you'll see them summarized at creation; 4. If you have multiple menus, you can limit a manager to the menus they handle. The base plan includes one operational account; paid plans let you add as many as you need. Revoking access When someone leaves the team, deactivate their account from Team: access closes immediately, without affecting the others. You can also reset the password of an operational account at any time.
Getting startedYour app on the stores (App Store and Google Play)
Beyond the web app, on paid plans you can have your own native app with your name and logo, downloadable from the App Store and Google Play. Plus, once the app is published, push notifications to your customers activate. How to request it You'll find the path in Settings (or as the last step of the launch guide, once your web app is live). You fill in the store listing: - App name (max 30 characters β Apple's limit), subtitle, short and full description, keywords; - support email and, optionally, free-form notes for our team. Don't start from a blank page: Mobee AI generates all the texts from your menu and your story (1 credit) β you review, tweak and save. What you DON'T have to do - Icon and artwork derive from your theme and logo (Appearance section); - We produce the screenshots; - The technical publishing on the stores β accounts, builds, submission β is a process we handle end to end. After submitting Once you press "Submit", the listing locks and the process starts. Follow the status from the page (and from the icon at the top of the panel): 1. In preparation β the team prepares the app and materials; 2. Sent to the stores β delivered to Apple and Google; 3. In review β the stores examine it; 4. Published β downloadable, and push notifications activate. You receive an email at the key steps: taken in charge, any changes requested, publication. "Changes requested" Apple's and Google's reviews sometimes ask for adjustments: in that case the listing becomes editable again, with a note explaining what to fix. You correct and resubmit: the process resumes from there. It's normal, it happens β no alarm. How long does it take? Preparation is quick; review times belong to the stores, not to us: usually a few business days, and the first publication is the longest. We keep you posted β no need to ask. What about the web app? It stays and keeps working: links and QR codes already out there don't change. The store app adds to it, it doesn't replace it.
MenuDish photos and Mobee AI
Photos are the first thing customers look at: a menu with real, well-made photos sells more. Mobee helps you with both format and quality. Uploading a photo Product and category photos are square. When you upload an image: - if it's already ~square, it goes up as is; - if it's not, the guided crop opens: choose the framing yourself, or "Fit with background" to keep everything (handy for logos). Mobee takes care of the rest: resizing and optimization are automatic. Upload limit: a few MB β a regular smartphone photo is perfectly fine. Enhance a photo with Mobee AI You have the right photo but it came out poorly (bad light, messy background)? Use Enhance photo: Mobee AI cleans it up and makes it appetizing, without changing the dish. You see the result before confirming. Each enhancement uses 1 credit (credits are sold in packs). AI-written descriptions From the product page you can ask Mobee AI to write the description from the name and ingredients. Feel free to edit it: it's a draft at your service. What if a dish has no photo? No ugly gaps: Mobee shows an automatic stylized icon in your theme colors, marked as temporary. When you upload the real photo, it replaces the icon in one tap. Tips - Real photos, always: customers order what they see β never stock photos of dishes that aren't yours; - Natural light, dish centered, simple background; - Start with your 10 best sellers: maximum impact for minimum effort.
MenuBuild your menu: categories and products
Your menu is made of categories (Pizzas, Starters, Dessertsβ¦) containing products. You manage it from Menu in the panel. Categories - Create a category with a name and, optionally, a cover photo; - Reorder categories: the order you see is the order in the app; - Hide a category (eye/toggle) without deleting it: handy for seasonal menus. Products For each product you set: - Name and description β you can have Mobee AI write the description for you; - Price; - Photo β square, with guided cropping (see the "Dish photos" article); - Visibility β switch off a sold-out dish without deleting it. You can duplicate a product to create a similar one (the copy starts without a photo: upload its own). Options and variants Add option groups to your products: - required, single-choice groups β e.g. "Cooking" (rare / medium / well done); - optional groups, possibly priced β e.g. "Extras" (buffalo mozzarella +β¬2), with a maximum number of choices you decide. Customers can't complete the order without the required choices, and option prices add up automatically. Boxes and combos With Boxes you create combinations (e.g. "Lunch deal: main + drink"): choose which products can go in, the min/max per group, and whether the price is fixed or the sum of the components. Tips - Short, clear names: customers choose in seconds; - The first categories sell the most: put what you want to push at the top; - A menu with photos sells noticeably more than one without.
Getting startedGetting started: from signup to your app online
With Mobee you create your business's ordering app in minutes: menu, opening hours, delivery and pickup, all managed from a single panel. 1. Create your account Go to the signup page, enter your name and email, and choose whether to set a password (you can also skip it: in that case you'll sign in with a link sent by email). You'll receive a verification code by email: enter it and you're in. 2. Complete the guided setup The wizard walks you through step by step: 1. Your business β name and address of your venue (including street number). 2. Selling & hours β pick your channels (pickup, delivery) and opening hours, which can differ by day and by channel. 3. Your menu β you can use the AI assistant: tell it about your business, give it your website or a photo/PDF of your menu and it creates categories, dishes and a welcome text. Or add dishes manually. (See the "AI assistant" article.) 4. Your theme β colors suggested automatically from your logo, always editable. 5. Review β preview your app in a live simulator. You can go back to any step at any time: nothing is final. 3. Follow the launch guide After the wizard you land in the management panel: the dashboard shows the launch guide, a checklist of what's missing before going live (dish photos, delivery zones, team membersβ¦). Each step takes you to the right section. 4. Publish When all checks are green, press Publish app: your app is live at https://your-name.mobeeapp.it, with a QR code to print and share. Customers order from their browser, nothing to install. Need help at any point? Open "Need help?" at the top: you'll chat directly with us.
